A Physical Sunscreen contains active mineral ingredients, such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, which work by sitting on top of the skin surface to deflect and scatter damaging UV rays away from the skin. A physical spf will provide protection immediately at application from UVA and UVB rays. A Chemical Sunscreen contains carbon-based compounds, such as oxybenzone, octinoxate, octisalate, and avobenzone, which create a chemical reaction and work by changing UV rays into heat, then releasing that heat from the skin. A chemical spf requires about 20 minutes after application before it starts to work. Which ever you choose to protect your skin with, a Physical or Chemical Sunscreen, we recommend a SPF 30 or higher and reapply every 80 minutes. #PROTECT
The purpose of any facial is to create healthier, better looking skin. To achieve these goals of healthier, better looking skin a facial must contain certain basic steps in order to produce real results. The essential steps of a facial are cleansing the skin, the application of an exfoliant through a chemical (peel) or mechanical process such as microdermabrasion or dermaplane, and then extractions. The more thorough these steps are completed the better the results and the better your skin will look; hence, the popularity of the HydraFacial.
The HydraFacial uses advanced patented technologies to maximize the basic steps of a facial by using the soothing nature and cleansing action of swirling, fortified water. The resulting effect is an astonishingly deeper yet gentler cleansing step followed by an exfoliation step that is significantly better than microdermabrasion and termed Hydra-dermabrasion. Hydra-dermabrasion has the additional benefit of setting the stage for a more thorough yet less traumatic extraction process.
The HydraFacial treatment doesn’t stop at the basic three steps; it includes the additional step and benefit of infusing antioxidants into the skin, which not only hydrates the skin but decreases inflammation, reverses sun damage, and protects the skin’s collagen fibers and enzyme systems. The treatment has been shown through clinical studies to replace damaged tissue and produce new collagen fibers.
If you have problematic skin or chronic facial redness the system contains LED red and blue light attachments that can be applied with the HydraFacial to further reduce acne break-outs and substantially reduce redness, even after only one treatment.

One of the greatest things you can do for your skin is a quick, easy, effective exfoliation. Would you choose a chemical or physical exfoliating treatment to help increase skin cell turnover, improve texture and tone, and help fight the signs of aging? AHAs, such as glycolic acid and BHAs, such as salicylic acid is great chemical exfoliates that can be found in your cleanser. Enzymes are another great form of a chemical exfoliate and can be found in facial masks. These don’t require a lot of effort but do offer a maximum result. Once applied, chemical exfoliants gently loosen dead skin cells and remove them. Physical exfoliants are a more popular way to exfoliate the skin by using scrubs, dermaplaning, and using a brush. These treatments work by combining tiny particles with the mechanical action of you hands to gently buff away dead cells. Scrubs are effective in smoothing you skin and help skincare products penetrate more effectively. Whatever exfoliating option is best for you, you are sure to notice the results of smoother flawless skin.
